Professional Background of Dr. Didem Kurban
Between 2003-2007, Op. Dr. Didem Kurban worked at the Antakya Maternity Hospital, followed by four years at various private hospitals and gynecology clinics in Ankara. From 2011-2016, she focused on Infertility-IVF, Painless Normal Birth, Genital Aesthetic Surgery, and Vaginismus Treatment, first at Private HRS Hospital and then under the Deren Clinic.
In 2016, she joined Hera Women’s Health Center, specializing in vaginismus, sexual treatments, sexual pleasure-orgasm issues, acupuncture, and genital aesthetic operations, and successfully treated many patients over four years.
Leveraging her experience from various clinics and significant events, Dr. Kurban started her practice on Tunis Street in 2019.
Using sexual therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapies, and alternative medical treatments, she has helped countless couples achieve a healthy sexual life within three days. She adapts her expertise in acupuncture to treat vaginismus and IVF, combining Western and Eastern medicine for successful alternative and complementary therapies.
Dr. Kurban’s expertise includes treating sexual health issues like vaginismus, lack of sexual desire, orgasm problems, painful intercourse, and performing genital aesthetic procedures like labiaplasty, clitoral hoodoplasty, and vaginal tightening. She is also skilled in non-surgical procedures like laser vaginal tightening, G-spot augmentation, laser genital whitening, genital lip fillers, and radiofrequency treatments, achieving high satisfaction rates.
In 2015, she received the ‘Advanced Cosmetic Vaginal Surgery’ certificate from ECAMS (European College of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery). In 2016, she earned the ‘Non-Surgical Female Genital Aesthetic Methods’ certificate from ECAMS. That same year, she passed the prestigious “board” exam by the European Society for Sexual Medicine and the European Federation of Sexology, becoming a Fellow of the European Society of Sexology (FECSM).
Dr. Kurban’s innovative treatments and compassionate approach have continuously added to her happy patient base. She served as Vice President of the International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery and Sexology (ISAGSS) from 2016-2020. As an International Trainer, she shares her experience in female genital aesthetics, female sexual health, and acupuncture treatments at courses, congresses, and training sessions worldwide. Proficient in German and English, Dr. Kurban has numerous publications in national and international journals and articles and interviews in national media.
In 2019, she chaired the RAGGS – International Reconstructive – Aesthetic Genital Surgery & Sexology Congress, discussing multidisciplinary approaches with renowned experts. She has been an invited speaker and genital aesthetic-sexology trainer at international congresses in countries like the Philippines, Austria, Egypt, and India. From 2020-2022, she served as a trainer in genital aesthetics and vaginismus for the IASRM (International Association of Stemcell & Regenerative Medicine).
Dr. Kurban has many national and international publications in vaginismus treatment and genital aesthetics. She has authored two chapters in the book on Sexual Medicine and Genital Aesthetics. Since 2020, she has been on the board of the International Regenerative Medicine Association.
